It’s a testament to Ngo’s acting determination that this summer, the product of UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton turned down an opportunity to audition for an upcoming Sylvester Stallone film. He was already booked for a supporting role in Boy Erased, a future production directed by actor Joel Edgerton (Star Wars: Episode II, Zero Dark Thirty and The Great Gatsby) and featuring Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe. Ngo, who is of Vietnamese, French and Chinese descent, left college not knowing what career to pursue and on a whim decided to take acting classes. He’s appeared in several dozen commercials, TV shows and movies, including Grey’s Anatomy, The Vampire Diaries and New Girl. Much to our delight, we caught him in August performing a skit with boxer Floyd Mayweather and James Corden on The Late Show.
