Our fair county may be a growing metropolitan area, but that doesn’t mean it’s bereft of Mother Nature’s beauty. If our concrete jungles make residents forgetful of that, Orange County Outdoors serves as a great reminder. With stunning photos of hidden hot springs by Ortega Highway, bobcats roaming around Black Star Canyon Falls and majestic sunsets by Dana Point Harbor, it’s easy to see why Orange County Outdoors has amassed nearly 16,000 followers on Instagram. It’s the closest thing we have to a county-centric National Geographic page. But don’t forget to put the phones down and actually go out and explore some OC nature that Don Bren hasn’t developed over . . . yet.
