Because You're Ugly: Paul Frank N Modern Amusement Warehouse Sales

For some reason, just about every (Costa Mesa-based) clothing company is having their bi-annual warehouse sales this weekend. Paul Frank Industries and Modern Amusement will be combining their warehouse sales together at Paul Frank's Costa Mesa warehouse location.
Okay, so Paul Frank isn't exactly what it used to be after losing (…firing, ousting, whatever) their namesake designer and founder in 2005, but they've still got that precious little monkey Julius, right?
As for Modern Amusement, you might recognize their bird logo before you recognize the name. The label's a big part of that “urban” trend, the kind of tailored cardigans, striped hoodies and sweaters that you'd see on sneakerheads a plenty. It's all great stuff you'll see for sale at everywhere from Bloomingdale's to Urban Outfitters, particularly the men's line, but usually pricey. Here's the perfect time to dive in head first.
Paul Frank Industries will be moving from the “house they grew up in,” an adorable, colorful building on 16th St., making this their final warehouse sale at this location. The lines for Paul Frank are often far scarier than the lines at the RVCA and OBEY warehouses not too far away, so prepare yourselves.
Cash, VISA and Mastercard will be accepted at both sales with valid ID. And for Paul Frank only: Pay with cash and receive a discount–free gift with purchase over $50.
Modern Amusement and Paul Frank Industries warehouse sales, 960 W. 16th St., Costa Mesa, paulfrank.com/holidaysale. Fri., 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sat., 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Visit website for more info.
