There are three things Baylor Eldric Maggenti loves him some: bomb-making material, child pornography and conservative politics.
Guess which two just landed the 67-year-old Costa Mesa man in jail for a year?
He pleaded guilty Monday to possessing firearms, bomb-making materials and child pornography in his house and immediately earned the sentence from the judge.

Baylor Eldric Maggenti, Facing Illegal Firearms, Bomb-Material Counts, Has Child Porn Added
Maggenti was arrested in December 2012 after cops received a tip that he had explosive materials at his residence in a commercial business park at 1835 Whittier Ave., Costa Mesa. Gunpowder fuses and other material used to make bombs were found, although no finished explosive device was discovered, according to cops.
Prosecutors later added the kiddie porn count.
At the time of Maggenti's arrest, Art Pedroza pointed his OC Politics Blog readers to the suspect's Facebook page, which shows he's a fan of Ronald Reagan, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.
