Westminster Police detectives are looking for witnesses who may help lead them to the driver of a vehicle that hit a 68-year-old man in the early morning hours of July 17 at Westminster Boulevard and Milan Street before splitting the scene.
Kenneth Lindeman later died of his injuries.
A night watchman at Gramercy Apartments in Anaheim, Lindeman was crossing Westminster at Milan around 2:25 a.m. that Saturday when he was struck.
He was found lying in the street by arriving Westminster Police officers, who had the man rushed to Long Beach Memorial Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
“Westminster Traffic Division investigators have been able to piece together the chain of events which lead to this accident,” reads a statement released by the department. “Investigators are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating the driver involved in this collision.”
