Andrew McMahon's Foundation Teams Up With Warped Tour

Jack's Mannequin/Something Corporate singer/songwriter Andrew McMahon is pretty busy this summer, what with finishing a new Jack's Mannequin album and going on a reunion tour with Something Corporate.

But he's not too busy to devote time to his foundation, Dear Jack, which seeks to raise awareness for cancer research. This summer, the Dear Jack Foundation and 11:11A.M. will be teaming up on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour to raise money to help increase survival rates of young cancer patients.

At every stop, there will be a booth selling merchandise from each
organization, literature on where and how to volunteer locally,
daily raffles, and a spot where audiences can share their stories on cancer. All proceeds raised on tour will go towards furthering
the mission of Dear Jack Foundation to improve survival rates of young
adult cancer patients. Dear Jack, the documentary on Andrew McMahon's battle with cancer, will
also be available for sale. (Watch the touching trailer below.)

Warped Tour
will stop at Carson on June 26 and Pomona Aug. 11.

Jack's Mannequin is also hosting a benefit concert in Richmond, Virginia, for former Hot Rod Circuit
drummer Dan Duggins, who recently suffered a stroke.
According to McMahon, “Duggins was unable to afford health insurance…so in response to this need, the band and I have decided to do a
benifit concert for Dan” Tickets are available now for the June 24 show.
