UPDATE, AUG. 12, 4:17 P.M.: The man who appears to have been “executed” by being shot several times has been identified as William Nauman, 46, of Garden Grove, according to Lt. Jeff Nightengale, the Garden Grove Police spokesman.

Nauman was found in his own residence in the 13000 block of Hale Avenue, but detectives are withholding other specific details as part of the investigation at the time–other than to say Andrew Carl Harvey III, 38, is a “person of interest” in the case because he was seen leaving the residence shortly before the body was discovered.

Known to frequent the Orange County and Long Beach areas, Harvey is believed to be traveling on foot because he does not own a vehicle. No weapon was recovered from the scene, so Harvey should be considered armed and dangerous, according to Nightengale.

Harvey is described as white, 5-foot-11, 195 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes and numerous tattoos on his arms and chest and possible “Long Beach” tatted on his neck.

Anyone with information is asked to call Garden Grove Police Investigator Maciel at 741.741.5800.
