Alex's Lemonade Stand To Stop At Irvine Spectrum's Carousel Court

This Sunday, June 9th, Irvine Spectrum will host Alex's Lemonade Stand at its Carousel Court.

What is Alex's Lemonade Stand? “It's part of a nationwide effort to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research. The Taggart family, formerly of Costa Mesa, hosts their annual Grand Stand in Orange County to honor the memory of their son John who, like Alexandra Scott, the charity's namesake, lost his life to pediatric cancer.”

The stand will be there 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and for a donation, there will be lemonade, fresh baked goods, and a complimentary Carousel ride. Other fun stuff is planned for families, like balloon-making and face-painting.

Why are we posting this here? Because sometimes it's not about food or bargains or stupid things people do. Sometimes it's about a good cause.
