Sixteen-year-old Alberto David Miller was sitting on the front steps of a home in the 300 block of
East Washington Street in Santa Ana Sunday night when another teen walked by. Words were exchanged about the teens' rival rangs. Then the other guy whipped out a handgun and blasted several shots at Miller.
After suffering gunshot wounds to his legs and torso, Miller was rushed to Western Medical Center, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Santa Ana Police detectives working the case quickly zeroed in on a suspect and on Sunday made an arrest. Juan Galvan, 19, was taken down at his Santa Ana home
and later booked on suspicion of murder.
