ABC Developing Sitcom About Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger

The “Too Hot Tamales” and two Top Chef Masters alums Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, who, oh yeah, also have a restaurant called Border Grill, will be the subject of another TV show, this time a comedy for ABC. The network has ordered a pilot that will chronicle the early lives of the two partners when they started out in the 80s.

None other than Michael Eisner (yeah, that one) is producing, and a Desperate Housewives scribe will write it. But if you know Milliken and Feniger's story, you know it ought to write itself (Feniger is gay and Milliken is married to Feniger's ex-husband). What should be more interesting is if the show will get the bad taste out of our mouths from NBC's ill-conceived Emeril sitcom. And let's try to forget pre-Hangover Bradley Cooper as an Anthony Bourdain-based character in FOX's failed Kitchen Confidential.

Seriously, is there not enough drama and comedy in our weekly episodes of Top Chef that we need fictional shows about people who cook our food?
