Masala Bowl, the Indian fast-food that made a bid for expansion into Irvine and Brea among other cities the past few years, is now back to just one location in Orange County–the original one in Tustin.

The Irvine store on Sand Canyon and Irvine Center Drive, long shuttered, is now being replaced by something called Chef Yen Chinese & Thai Fusion. The signs are all up, and the typical Irvine Company mandated stencil on the window announces that they will be opening this summer.
