A Call for Making Arrested Development's Orange County Imagine/Imaging a Reality

Further proof that Orange County is a Bizarro World version of Arrested Development's Orange County (or Arrested Development's Orange County is a Bizarro World version of Orange County) comes in a MemorialCare Health System announcement Monday.

The MemorialCare Medical Foundation physician division will become the sole owner of eight free-standing, community-based imaging centers located in Orange County and Long Beach, and here's a vote for naming them Orange County Imaging.

In the Netflix season of Arrested Development, Orange County Imagine was a small branch of Imagine Entertainment, the Hollywood production company that, in real life, is owned by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.

Imagine produces Arrested Development, and Howard is the absurdly hilarious program's narrator. On the show, he and Grazer send Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) to Orange County Imagine to get signatures from family members on release forms for the “Untitled Michael B. Project” movie.

But customers often wander into Orange County Imagine thinking they have entered the nearby and visually similar Orange County Imaging. Among them is George Bluth Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor), who Michael mistakenly believes came to the office to sign the release. Actually, George had gone for diagnostic imaging services.
