Summer and Music (SAM) concerts kicks off its 3rd annual Bicycle Drive-In at the Promenade, a multi-tiered event that includes a laser light show from MOVE, the psychedelic sounds of Silent Disco, and signature brews from Beachwood BBQ and Brewing and Congregation Ale House Chapters. There’s also a costume contest, and while there are no regulations, the feature of the night is the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz, so there’s sure to be plenty of glaring gargoyles, bitchy witches, and a hailstorm of wild-eyed Dorothys. You ride your bike to this drive-in, of course, because the LBC is all about the bike, and they’ll even valet your wheels. The Roller Derby girls are on hand womanning the refreshment stand, as well, and those girls are awesomely badass, so just mind your manners when requesting Whoppers.
