Here is what the Angels have received since signing Hamilton to a $125 million contract before the 2013 season: 31 home runs in his first two seasons here, 89 games last season as he battled through injuries, off-season shoulder surgery, his Feb. 25 meeting with MLB officials involving a disciplinary issue “worse” than performance-enhancing drugs and a big cloud of mystery surrounding his status heading into the 2015 regular season that begins Monday in Seattle.
