My name is Tara Shor, and I’m the founder and esthetician behind Shorrbeauty, a corrective skincare studio in Orange County, California. What started as a passion for skincare has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
I’ve always loved helping people feel good about themselves, and I quickly realized that skincare gave me a way to do that on a much deeper level. When someone has struggled with acne, acne scars, pigmentation, or simply hasn’t felt confident in their skin for years, seeing that confidence slowly come back is incredibly rewarding. That became the foundation of Shorrbeauty.
For me, skincare has never been just about the skin. It’s about confidence, consistency, and helping someone feel comfortable in their own skin again.
At Shorrbeauty, we specialize in acne, acne scarring, pigmentation, anti-aging, and overall skin health. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many different clients and skin concerns, and one thing has always remained the same: there is no one-size-fits-all approach to skin.
I focus on creating personalized treatment plans based on what each client’s skin actually needs. Some of our most popular treatments include Microchanneling, BioRePeel, DiamondGlow, dermaplaning, corrective peels, and customized acne treatments. I’m especially passionate about acne and acne scarring because I’ve seen firsthand how much they can affect someone’s confidence.
Microchanneling has a particularly special place in my heart. It was one of the treatments that helped build Shorrbeauty into what it is today, and seeing the transformations we’ve been able to achieve over time is still one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
But Shorrbeauty is about more than treatments. Education is a huge part of what we do. I want my clients to understand their skin, their products, and why we’re recommending certain treatments instead of simply following whatever is trending online. Sometimes the best skincare routine isn’t the longest one—it’s the one you can stay consistent with.
As Shorrbeauty continues to grow, my goal is to continue bringing new technology, treatments, and education to our clients without losing the personal experience that the business was built on.
At the end of the day, my favorite part of what I do is watching someone’s confidence change along with their skin. That’s always been the heart of Shorrbeauty: helping people love the skin they’re in.
