Lil' Kim: Countdown To Lockdown 5 to 8 tonight BET In celebration of Lil' Kim's early release from jail on July 3, the network re-runs this reality show that premiered in March and became the most-watched series debut in BET history, drawing 1.9 million viewers nationwide. The show highlights the Crooklyn rapper's final 14 days of freedom before she entered prison on a perjury rap. The Grammy winner was originally sentenced to 366 days in prison in July 2005 for lying to a grand jury about her knowledge of a shoot-out in front of Hot 97's New York offices. In the show, as incarceration looms, Kim seems to be the level-headed one—she promotes an album, meets with fans and re-shoots a music video—while those around her fall to pieces, or go missing completely. It remains to be seen if BET's camera will be there for the first 14 days of Lil' Kim outside.
