Yeah, yeah, it's a chain. We don't care. It's the archetypal Chicago hot dog, there's only one in OC, and it's by far the best place to experience the Chicago version of a tube steak. A Vienna beef frank, snappy in its casing and thinner than most sandwich sausages around here, is laid in a poppy seed-dusted soft potato roll, then topped with onions, tomatoes, nuclear green relish, a dill pickle spear, celery salt and, if you want, “sport peppers”, which are spicy pickled chiles, thin, vinegary and lethal.
You won't be able to eat just one. I guarantee it.
