Time was, meatloaf only graced the tables of people's homes and a few greasy-spoon places with names like “Pop's Luncheonette”; the idea of it being served in a nice restaurant was laughable. Then, of course, the gourmet comfort food movement happened, and meatloaf popped up everywhere.

One of the places where it's best is at Memphis (either location); the meat mixture is surprisingly delicate, it's not overwhelmed with a lot of filler, it's tender and the sauce has more than a passing acquaintance with barbecue. The best way to experience it is on the happy hour menu's appetizer list, where it costs $5 and comes on a crusty baguette.
