UPDATE, MARCH 28, 3:32 P.M.: Four Disneyland cast members were taken to a local hospital this afternoon after complaining of nausea from paint fumes, according to police.
Authorities were called backstage at the theme park around 1:15 p.m. about the “wet paint” odor that sickened the employees to their stomachs, Anaheim Police Lt. Tim Schmidt told City News Service.
The trip to the hospital was just a precaution and all were expected to be quickly released, the police agency's spokesman added.
No guests at the Sniffiest Place on Earth were overcome by the fumes.
