An unidentified 24-year-old man was shot and killed in Orange Wednesday night, according to police.

The victim had been approached by two people in the 1100 block of North Lemon Street around 9 p.m., when one of them fired several shots at the 24-year-old, Lt. Fred Lopez told City News Service. He added that the assailants fled in a dark four-door compact sedan.
Lopez called the attack gang-related, but friends of the victim told a news videographer at the scene that they did not know of him being associated with any gang.
