2010 Namm Show At-a-Glance

WHAT: The NAMM Show, a music-product-trade convention rivaled in size only by the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, is held every January in Anaheim. The acronym NAMM originally stood for the National Association of Music Merchants, but due to an expansion of its reach and scope, the long form was dropped, and it is now known simply as NAMM, the International Music Products Association. Open only to members of the music trade and invited guests, the 2010 NAMM Show, with its more than 1,500 exhibits, promises to be “where you need to be to see the latest gear, get re-inspired, reconnect with your industry peers and take charge of your future” amid an uncertain economy.

WHERE: Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W. Katella Ave., Anaheim

WHEN: Thurs.-Sat., Jan. 14-16, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sun., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
