“Detectives from the Tustin Police Department are actively investigating this incident,” says Tustin Police Sgt. Andrew Birozy, who asks anyone with information about the crime to call Detective Sandoval at 714.573.3288.
ORIGINAL POST, AUG. 19, 10:04 A.M.: A man was stabbed to death near a Tustin strip mall Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
A 9-1-1 call came in just after 3:15 p.m. about a man bleeding in the parking lot at 14200 Red Hill Ave., says Tustin Police Sgt. Andrew Birozy.
The victim, who had been stabbed, was taken to an area hospital, where he died shortly after his arrival, Birozy said.
The county coroner has not yet released the fellow's name or age.
