In the spring we announced the first Orange County location of Luna Rossa was setting up shop in Huntington Beach. Location number two just announced their debut. Sort of.
Actually, they were scheduled to open Monday at The District in Tustin. But when we called yesterday for more information they sang a different tune. As with all openings, they weren't quite ready. He gave us assurances of a definite opening day and time.

The promise: 3 p.m. Tuesday. Good for pre and post-theater dining, their front door is visible from AMC. Offering homemade gnocchi, wood oven pizzas and a healthy dose of antipasti, we are curious about how they will fare in this ever changing plaza. So we wish the Italian family behind the growing chain in boca al lupo (despite the confusing translation).
