The first of three parts of Long Beach's annual Taste of Downtown series kicks off tomorrow in the East Village Arts District. Each of the two nights (March 23 & 24) will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be painting classes, a free bike valet, and live music. Most importantly, there will be food.
An impressive list of Long Beach restaurants are participating, including a few Weekly favorites such as Beachwood, James Republic, The Breakfast Bar, and Pier 76. A sampling of the, er, samplings is available here.
