What'd you miss this weekend? We kept busy--there was the Best of the Chowderfest at the Aquarium of the Pacific, Datarock at the Glass House, Mike Watt at the Echo and Exene Cervenka at Big's (sponsored by Heard Mentality!). After the jump: more images, info and links!
Mike Watt performed at the Echo on the night of March 11, 2011. Le Butcherettes opened. See the slideshow here.
OC Weekly's music blog, Heard Mentality, presented Exene Cervenka at Big's in Fullerton on the night of March 11, 2011. The very-awesome Phranc (the self-described "all-American Jewish lesbian folk singer") provided support. The show benefited Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability or age-related problems. To find out more about this great organization, visit SweetRelief.org. See the slideshow here.
