A 77-year-old man is reportedly suspected of raping and continuously sexually assaulting a girl who was at least 14 for several years.

Orange County sheriff's deputies arrested John Walker Gunn on Tuesday, and he has since been charged with 17 felony counts ranging from rape, forcible oral copulation, sexual penetration of a child, sodomy and lewd or lascivious acts, according to City News Service, citing court records.
The assaults date back to as early as March 2006 and as recently as the day he was taken into custody, the news service reports.
Gunn is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
