Hey, You!

You were the Huntington Beach police officer in the local convenience store at 2:30 in the morning; I was the customer there who made a comment to the employee about the store's choice of music. There are some serious things I could say to a member of a controversial police department like yours—but screw that. How can you like that Celine Dion Titanic song?!? When I said something to the guy at the 7-Eleven about the song, and it wasn't even a direct complaint but more of a comment, you defended “My Heart Will Go On,” completely in earnest. Said you: “You don't like that song? It's romantic.” Jeez. Of course, being a “peace” officer is tough. For one thing, you gotta eat people's comments from time to time. I bet sometimes someone says something and you just gotta take it. But of all the damned times to respond, you have to speak up for “My Heart Will Go On?” No wonder your police department is so messed up. I still can't get that damned song out of my head. I really gotta move.
