[UPDATE: Sold to Someone Who Has No Idea Who No Doubt Is!] No Doubt's 'Beacon Street' Anaheim Home for Sale

UPDATE, 12:14 P.M., JAN. 18: According to comments left by real-estate agent Chuck Ohlwine of First Team Real Estate, the home has been sold. The Beacon Street house is now in escrow and was sold for "not less than asking price." It was also an all-cash offer.

Ohlwine tells us the home was on the market for 18 days, but it sold at 11:20 a.m. the first day the house was open to the public.

The buyer, actually, had no idea who No Doubt was. "There was a neighbor down the street who just liked the location," Ohlwine says. "But we had a good number of fans come by. I tried to get as many people to the open house as possible because when buyers see a lot of people at the open house, it might motivate them to give a better price."

ORIGINAL ITEM, 12:10 A.M., JAN. 13: 1173 W. Beacon Ave. in Anaheim is world-famous.

It was the family home of Gwen Stefani, but it's also where No Doubt rehearsed, recorded some of The Beacon Street Collection in the garage and filmed two videos. And it's on the market.

All you need is $325,000.

We just chatted with No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont, who confirms that not only were the "Trapped in a Box" and "Just a Girl" music videos filmed at the Anaheim home, but also "much of Tragic Kingdom" was written there.

From the

official real-estate listing

for the three-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,213-square-foot home:

You have an opportunity to own a piece of Anaheim and Orange County history. The 'Beacon Street' house is famously known because a local band known as No Doubt recorded an album and two videos at this home. The home, which was originally a four-bedroom, is now a three-bedroom (a wall can be put up to make it a four-bedroom again), with two baths. It has a large yard in the front as well as a large yard in the back. Newer roof (2004) and some newer dual-pane windows. Newer laminate wood flooring in the living/eating room and the hallway. Good area, one of the best streets in the neighborhood. Walking distance to Disneyland. Close to schools, transportation, shopping and freeway access.
