Gang Starr MC Guru in Coma After Heart Attack, Joanna Newsom in Her Underwear, Jane's Addiction Done, Lil Wayne Will Have it Rough in Prison
- Rapper Guru, best known for his groundbreaking work with Gang Starr in the early 1990s, has suffered a heart attack and is in a coma. Surgery scheduled for today.
- "This album is me running around in my underwear, more or less," says Joanna Newsom, about her new three-disc record Have One on Me, in a Q&A with Time.com.
- "That's it. With equal parts regret and relief, the Jane's Addiction experiment is at an end," tweets bassist Eric Avery.
- Lil Wayne will "have no preferable treatment at all. He'll be treated like a regular inmate," a prison guard tells MTV.com. "He may have heightened security. A guard will walk with him when he moves from location to location."
