Fat Joe to Rappers: 'Come Out Of The Closet'
Fat Joe says it's time for gay rappers to come out of the closet.
"Hip-hop is the greatest gay market in the world," he told VLAD TV. "So why wouldn't a guy come out and say, 'I'm gay,' and go with that kind of love?" Fat Joe asks.
The forty-one year old rapper says he believes there's a gay mafia in hip-hop, but it's not the rappers--it's the editors of magazines, the presidents of major companies, the program directors at radio stations, and awards presenters.
"This is the fucking gay mafia," he says. "They are in power."
He says that Lady Gaga embraced the GLBT community, so rappers should, too.
