Drake gave fair warning about the volatile nature of his shows when he expressed his apprehension by spitting "Everyone nervous/'Cuz them hipsters gone have to get along with them hood niggaz," on the "Ignant Shit" track off So Far Gone.
If you've never been to one of the Toronto MC's shows before, don't worry, we got you! After the jump, check out our list for things to watch out for at the show.
1.Watch out for flailing hands. The one thing you can't see when you're bumping Thank Me Later in your whip is all of the annoyingly awkward hand gestures Drake made in the studio while laying down the bars. Unfortunately, anyone who's gone to one of his shows has had to witness Drake's dancing hand ad nauseum.
2. If you bring your girl, don't sit in the front row. He's not called Heartbreak Drake for nothing. He's out to woo the crowd, and if Thursday night's audience includes your girl, you might want to avoid any place where he can see you clearly you or call you out. Because even if your significant other doesn't respond to you advances there's still nothing worse than Drake calling you out in the crowd, like he did to this guy.
3. Ladies, don't look him in the eyes. Not because you might fall for the singing rapper, but because he might fall in love with you and name check you in a song (whether you return his advances at all).
Which sounds cool at first, if you consider the favorable lines he penned about Nicki Minaj: "I love Nicki Minaj/I told her I'd admit it/I hope one day we get married just to say we fucking did it/And girl I'm fucking serious I'm with it if you with it/Cause your verses turn me on and your pants are might fitted" ...but not as cool whenever you consider the slightly unsavory like the bars he spit about rumored video chick girlfriend Maliah: "Someone tell Maliah I'm on fire she should work tonight/Call her king of Diamonds and tell China it'd be worth the flight/I'll be at my table stacking dollars to the perfect height/Work something twerk something basis/She just tryna make it so she right here gettin naked/I don't judge her, I don't judge her/But I could never love her cuase to her I'm just a rapper/And soon she'll have met another."

4. Don't get bummed by Drake's live instrumentals. Many concert goers have commented in the past that some of his (Boi1da produced?) songs (like "Show Me a Good Time" and "Shut it Down") don't really translate well when accompanied by live instrumentation.
5. Keep an eye out for parting gifts! One of the coolest things about a Drake show is all the free stuff he gives away at his shows. From shots to cell phones, Drake mixes product placement and hip-hop nicely...
