Bomb threats Tuesday night grounded a Southwest plane at John Wayne Airport bound for Phoenix and another in Phoenix that connects Orange County and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Searches of both planes turned up nothing, and normal operations resumed. But the FBI isn't done with this case, as the question remains: Who made these threats?

Southwest Flight 811 was about to depart for Phoenix when SNA officials received “an unspecified threat” about a bomb on board that canceled the takeoff around 8:10 p.m. Southwest Flight 1184 out of Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix was grounded around the same time due to a similar threat.
The Orange County Joint Terrorism Task Force responded to the threat at John Wayne, where no explosives were found, according to Laura Eimiller of the FBI's Los Angeles office.
