The Who: Quadrophenia—The Complete Story

In 1973, the Who released their sixth studio album and second rock opera, which once again centered on the social, musical and psychological influences playing havoc with an English teenager—and it went to the second spot on both the US and UK Billboard pop charts. A nonmusical film was subsequently made and now, this documentary chronicling the creation of the album that includes archive footage of Moon, Entwistle, Townshend and Daltrey, never-before-seen stories (including the collapse of Moon on stage), and additional song performances. There’s also a special introduction by Townshend who gets you all ready to experience the grand musical interpretation of his angry, anguished mod youth. The kids definitely aren’t all right, but that’s why we like them.
