Once a month, the Orange County Museum of Art holds its Sunday Salon, an informal gathering of artists participating in the 2010 California Biennial (which goes through March), the it event for contemporary visual artists. The Sunday Salon consists of artists discussing their works in the exhibition with the museums curators, critics and their peers. This week, the salon hosts the Los Angeles Urban Rangers and Finishing School (two artist collectives) and is part of a larger event celebrating the launch of the Biennial catalog, which includes special performances by Biennial artists Carlee Fernandez, Brian Dick and Juan Capistran. And since OC events arent complete these days without a food truck, Rasta Taco will be serving lunch specials.
