Seeing Red

In the grand agrarian tradition of choosing the living animal you’ll consume before it’s been slaughtered, picking the lobster of your choice from the bottom of murky, overcrowded tanks has delighted/horrified eaters since the spindly crustacean became a trademark of fine dining.
Join crowds of langosta enthusiasts as they shimmy on the dance floor to live music, let their kids run wild in the children’s area and, of course, eat lobster flown in fresh daily. And if lobster isn’t your thing, the event promises a variety of food to suit all tastes: ribs, chicken, Jamaican, Chinese, Thai and other international grub and desserts, as well as a long list of interesting adult beverages.

Fri., Sept. 5, 5 p.m.; Sept. 6-7, noon, 2008
