One of the surest indicators that a band will live forever, even if they’re not annually pumping out records, is when the “kids of today” snatch up and revive a one-time hit single. Such is the case with Kansas’ arena rock anthem, “Carry on My Wayward Son” (with “Dust in the Wind” not far behind). Never passing the Point of Know Return, through breakups and born-again Christendom, the progressive rockers with the heartland spirit have steadily toured (with member subs), and rumor has it a new CD is forthcoming.
