Moist

In 2012, The New Yorker asked readers what word they hated the most. The winner? Moist. Sorry, Betty Crocker, people don’t think of your cake, they think of sex and the dreaded, moistful vagina. (Sorry, vagina.) But over at the OCCCA, curator Ginger Shulick Porcella is all for moistness, and their current show surveys sensuality, sexuality, and eroticism in what they call the least obvious way possible (again, sorry, vagina). It’s a show billed acceptable for children, so no broad labium landscapes and no misogynistic muff dicing – but not for lack of those latter submissions. Tons of hatchet jobs of dehumanized lower ladyparts made their way to the venue, apparently, but what can be more moistful than a moisty vagina? Go find out.

Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: June 6. Continues through July 11, 2015
