The Queen Mary forever remains a spooky place, the decommissioned luxury liners almost-a-century-old wooden decks, hidden nooks and crannies and overall faded glory giving off an aura thats half Titanic, half The Shining. The added psychological boost of Halloween amps up the vibe with its Dark Harbor event, wrapping up an October run. Featuring three shipboard and two onshore mazes, Dark Harbor brings pyrotechnics, costumed ghouls and the four-story-tall Hells Bells Tower to the Royal Mail Ship. Of course, theres plenty of booze at the Night Mariners bar to help soothe those jangled nerves. Cheers.
Thursdays-Sundays, 7 p.m. Starts: Oct. 15. Continues through Oct. 31, 2010
