Children’s Garden Workshop

Can’t get little Constance to eat her #$#@ carrots? Sixth-grader Sam still snubbing the succulent shallots you serve? Well, the most unlikely of allies is here to rescue you—Orange County Great Park. (Did we just hear “Glad it’s good for something!” from the back row?) A fun-filled half-hour workshop includes an interactive presentation and hands-on activities to help kids appreciate fruits and veggies, the environment and the 2,000-year history of agriculture in the OC. They can even take home a seed strip of their favorite crop to plant in the yard or a container. And, no, cannabis sativa is not an option, dude.
