Changing the Focus: Latin American Photography

It is the first survey exhibition of Latin American photography and photo-based art to be presented in the Los Angeles area. All the works in the exhibition were created between 1990 and 2005 and are organized around four themes of investigation—Subliminal Structures, Embodies Identities, Staged Irony and the Individual & Social Violence. This exhibition explores the artistits' personally-charged response to local and global issues grounded in the contemporary Latin American experience.
Wednesdays-Sundays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: Feb. 14. Continues through May 2, 2010
