The laid back, surf city art space known as Location 1980 unleashes an evening full of live art— we really mean live art, as artists use living models as canvases to some original and stylish body paintings. At tonight's Bodies of Hip Hop Art Show, the evening will prove what seminal rappers The Sugarhill Gang sang all those years ago, that hip hop brings the rhythm that'll make your body rock. B-boys and b-girls will be breakdancing to hip hop beats provided by vinyl-spinning DJs, as well as Las Vegas band Rhyme N Rhythm providing their eclectic soul, funk, and hip hop tunes for the night. The sounds of hip hop, spray cans, and party people might make you feel like you're in the 1984 cult classic Breakin', so we suggest not stopping 'til the break of dawn.
