WWE Raw World Tour 2010

Professional wrestling has a fairly storied history at the Honda Center. In 1996, the then-Arrowhead Pond hosted the then-WWF’s Wrestlemania XII, featuring the legendary 60-minute “Iron Man” match between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. The venue held another Wrestlemania event four years later, at the height of future movie star The Rock’s popularity. A decade later, pro wrestling viewership has declined due to competition from mixed-martial arts and a lack of Rock-esque marquee stars, but there’s surely still fun to be had at this WWE live event (read: non-televised), which will include copious amounts of bone-rattling slams and appearances from the likes of current US Champ Daniel Bryan. He’s a vegan, and enjoys the works of Noam Chomsky — wrestling may be fake, but that’s all real.
