The Brotherhood

Cabaret shows aren’t as prominent these days as they were back in the Prohibition Era, thanks largely to the rise of variety television shows. But just as legal booze triumphantly returned to society, cabaret shows are also seeing a revival (a fantastic-gay-men’s-choir-performance revival, to be precise). Yes, Orange County’s famed gay-male chorus, Men Alive, are bringing back their killer Cabaret Soirée for a second go at cracking up the crowd with their special numbers meant for adults’ ears only. And this time around, the boys are vowing to pull out all the stops. They’ve even brought in a special guest: famed female impersonator Christopher Peterson, whose Liza and Madonna are sure to delight even the stuffiest of cabaret fans. Be there with bells on, and witness the chorus boys gone wild as they perform their slightly risqué, slightly refined numbers just for you.
