Even though we exist in the post-boy- band era, music still reeks of the foul odor of capitalism. Thank goodness for LA band the Bloody Brains. Though their gritty, punk sound is primitive, the raw energy of the jams allows one to contemplate the meaning of such numbers as “Money Is All I Need” and “Television Addict.” Though they sound retro, it feels like the dawn of a new era.
