There's an opening line bandied around by reporters as one of the best openers in history, something along the line of “[Some criminal] died hungry,” a story that dealt with a robber getting killed in the process of robbing a restaurant–or something like that. The following story is the opposite of that.

From New Hampshire:
A local man out on parole is back behind bars tonight after allegedly
robbing the TD Bank at 1255 S. Willow St. and grabbing a quick snack at
Taco Bell.
The bank alarm was sounded about 2:15 p.m. after a man
entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The man
then fled the bank with the money and disappeared just before police
arrived at the scene.
Checking with local taxi companies, police
learned of a cab that had taken a man from the area of the bank to Taco Bell,
but by the time police arrived at the restaurant, the suspect had left.
According to Manchester police, witnesses described a suspicious man
inside the restaurant flashing a large amount of cash before calling a
cab. Police learned of a man offering extra money for an expeditious
ride to Home Depot.
