In today’s world of instant gratification, where we get our news and information from 140 characters or less, it's expected to see eyes glazing over after about five minutes of anything that doesn’t contain explosions. Luckily, Sideshow Network, a podcast distribution site, indulges our ADD-culture’s need for humor in small doses. They've created The 5 Spot, a stand-up comedy show where local talent spews their best jokes in five-minute-sets to alert and captive audiences. Witness local comedians Aiko Tanaka, Caitlin Cutt, Cody Morley, Deepak Sethi, Mike Fletcher, Rob Robledo, Steven Garza and Walter Reyes (with host Zach Miller) as they put their best one-liners on display at the Irvine Improv, for exactly the amount of time it takes to microwave two Hot Pockets.
