Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s DUI Enforcement Team hold saturation patrols tonight in Stanton, Villa Park and Yorba Linda.
Saturation patrols have deputies assigned specifically to blanket streets known for drunken driving stops, arrests, crashes, injuries and fatalities.
The operation is scheduled to run from 7 p.m. through 3 a.m. Saturday in the three cities.
Funding for the patrols comes to the sheriff’s department from a California Office of Traffic Safety grant, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
