What we love most about Muzeo's latest art exhibit is the complete lack of pretentiousness. It's even described as the “unsophisticated answer” to the age-old question, “what is art?” Nine artists came together for this exhibition, each offering their own unique take on the artistic musing found in daily life—no oil paintings of socialites, no watercolor renditions of palm trees. There are beer cans, magazine collages, eerie shadows and psychedelic swirls of color. Nothing learned in college art courses, nothing taken from fancy museums—”Reverie in Daily Life” is inspiration born from the everyday. And maybe that's what art truly is.
Wednesdays-Sundays, 10 a.m. Starts: Aug. 22. Continues through Aug. 31, 2014
