Cold War Kids Headline Outpost Festival in Santa Ana, Tickets On Sale Today

Santa Ana is on track for its next big music festival…and no, for once it's not at the Observatory.

Outpost Festival, a one-day street fest headlined by local big timers Cold War Kids is slated for November 14 in Downtown Santa Ana. The inaugural event, with a lineup curated by fellow performers Delta Spirit, includes Blonde Redhead, Beach Fossils, Tijuana Panthers and Guards. It'll be centered from Santa Ana Blvd. to 4th St. between French St. and Main St. from 2 p.m.-11p.m.

The idea for Outpost sprung from a conversation between two members of Delta Spirit, Jonathan Jameson and Brandon Young. The idea was to a festival with no fluff and no fillers. And, perhaps best of all, there's only gonna be one stage (translation: so sound bleed and less walking).

For Jameson, whose band have been good friends with CWK for years, choosing them to close out their festival seemed pretty natural. “We are so so thrilled to have Cold War Kids headline,” Jameson says in a recent statement. “They are such great friends and were the first band to believe in us and take us out on the road with them.”

A collaborative of a organizers from around the country who helped put on the festival also lined up an array of food trucks including Kogji, Burger Monster, Poke Hut, Dos Chinos and many more as well as a beer garden.

Tickets for Outpost Fest go on sale today at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here. It's $40 for general admission and $80 for VIP, which includes a unique beer garden, private viewing area of The Main Stage, private toilets, exclusive foods, comfortable couches, and more (21+ only).
