Newport Beach residents were rubbing their eyes in disbelief at what they saw on Friday night and Saturday morning.
Hail–so much of it that it looked like snow.
Though there wasn't enough to call a Snow Day or even make a snow angel, the white stuff falling from the sky stuck to driveways, cars, patio furniture and beaches long enough for people to snap some photos and post them to Twitter.
